Stompers Gloves Operations Coordinator
Full-Time Monday to Friday / $20 per Hour
Overview
We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day customer service, order processing, shipping, returns, and warehouse operations for Stompers Gloves. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and keep things moving without needing constant direction. You will be responsible for both desk work and physical warehouse work throughout the day.
This is an operations role with ownership, but it is not a supervisory or salaried position. The right person will be able to identify routine problems, work toward solutions, stay productive during slower periods, and escalate issues when needed rather than for every minor question. We are willing to train the right person in our specific processes, but strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic problem-solving ability are required.
What You’ll Do
- Order fulfillment: Oversee and perform order fulfillment for our sales channels, including our website, Amazon, eBay, and wholesale accounts.
- Customer service: Monitor and respond to phone calls, emails, text messages, and other customer communication for the brands being represented.
- Returns and exchanges: Process returns and exchanges, including inspecting items for damage, defects, or other issues.
- Order entry and records: Enter orders and record sales transactions in QuickBooks and related systems.
- Shipping and export paperwork: Prepare and ship orders using the appropriate carriers, including international customs declaration forms when required.
- Wholesale support: Accept, review, and process wholesale orders while monitoring for compliance with terms of sale.
- Inventory accuracy: Monitor inventory levels and help ensure product counts remain accurate across warehouse stock and sales channels.
- Listing oversight support: Monitor sales channels for listing issues, inventory mismatches, customer feedback, and product-related problems, and coordinate with the eCommerce Product Coordinator when updates or corrections are needed.
- Warehouse operations: Pull products for orders, restock picking locations, receive incoming products, and maintain a clean, neat, and organized warehouse.
- Use sale history reports and Amazon recommendations to maintain appropriate stock levels at Amazon warehouses.
- Audits and restocking: Perform inventory counts, identify low-stock items, and help prevent fulfillment or supply issues before they become larger problems.
- Supplies monitoring: Monitor levels of critical supplies such as shipping materials and retail packaging supplies.
- Company vehicle use: Operate a company vehicle when necessary to pick up product or drop off outgoing parcels with carriers.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, stay on task, and manage routine issues without close supervision.
- Sound judgment in knowing what can be handled directly and what truly needs to be escalated.
- Standard computer and internet proficiency.
- Comfort learning QuickBooks, shipping systems, and online sales channel interfaces.
- The ability to switch between customer communication, order processing, shipping, and physical warehouse work without losing track of priorities.
- Reliability and consistency in showing up, staying productive, and following work through to completion.
Work Style & Environment
- This role is fully on-site.
- This role combines desk work and physical warehouse work every day.
- You must be able to stand, bend, kneel, lift boxes, clean and organize work areas, and move products as needed.
- Training will be provided on our specific systems and processes.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- During the peak selling season (November-January) there is NO PTO and mandatory overtime on weekends should be expected a few weeks each year during this time.
